LP KICK Racing Simulator
The LPSIMU LP KICK racing simulator is designed to provide a higher level of immersion than a traditional static simulator without immediately moving to an actuator-based motion system.
Built around the LPSIMU4 chassis, it combines a Simucube 3 Sport Direct Drive wheelbase, Simucube Savu Sport Wireless steering wheel, Simucube ActivePedal Pro and ButtKicker Gamer Plus haptic system.
This combination allows the LP KICK to bring together driving precision, haptic feedback and immersion in a high-end setup designed for both demanding enthusiasts and racing drivers looking to complement their training.
Haptic immersion with the ButtKicker Gamer Plus
One of the defining features of the LP KICK is its integrated ButtKicker Gamer Plus. Unlike a motion system that physically moves the cockpit, this technology uses vibrations transmitted directly through the simulator structure.
Depending on the simulation and settings used, the haptic system can reproduce feedback related to:
- engine RPM and vibrations;
- gear changes;
- driving over curbs;
- track surface irregularities;
- loss of grip;
- impacts and contact.
The driver therefore receives information not only through the steering wheel and display: selected reactions from the simulation can also be physically felt through the cockpit.
The ButtKicker is therefore a particularly interesting solution for enhancing the immersion of a static racing simulator while maintaining a simpler setup than an actuator-based motion system.
A Simucube ActivePedal Pro for customizable braking
The LP KICK features a Simucube ActivePedal Pro, an active pedal technology that allows the behavior of the brake pedal to be adjusted through software settings.
Different pedal parameters can be adapted to change its behavior according to the vehicle being driven, the simulation or the user’s preferences.
This technology allows drivers to work more precisely on braking and switch between different pedal behaviors without having to mechanically modify the pedal setup.
The ActivePedal Pro is paired with a Simucube throttle and an LPSIMU CNC aluminum footrest to provide a stable and coherent setup.
A Simucube 3 Sport Direct Drive wheelbase for precise steering
Steering is handled by a Simucube 3 Sport Direct Drive wheelbase paired with a Simucube Savu Sport Wireless steering wheel.
Direct Drive technology transmits force feedback directly to the steering wheel, allowing the driver to precisely feel information from the car and track.
This includes changes in grip, front-end reactions, curbs, loss of traction and changes in vehicle behavior.
Combining Direct Drive, the ActivePedal Pro and ButtKicker haptic feedback allows the LP KICK to transmit information from the simulation through multiple points of contact with the driver.
An LPSIMU4 chassis designed for a high-end setup
The LP KICK is built around an LPSIMU4 aluminum chassis with a custom gloss grey finish. Its structure accommodates the simulator’s various peripherals while providing the rigidity required for demanding sim racing.
The cockpit includes:
- an LPSIMU CNC kit with backplate, frontplate and wheel deck;
- an anodized aluminum pedal plate;
- a Sparco seat rail and LPSIMU seat sliders;
- a monitor stand with LPSIMU Vario VESA mount;
- PC, keyboard and headset mounts;
- integrated cable management.
The driver sits in a Sabelt SRP-1 bucket seat, with an adjustable driving position to adapt the cockpit to the user’s body shape and driving preferences.
A 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 for a panoramic view
The LP KICK features a 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 G91F. Its ultrawide format provides an extended field of view while maintaining a single-monitor setup.
This configuration delivers a panoramic view of the track and effectively complements the feedback provided by the Direct Drive wheelbase and haptic system.
A gaming PC configured for racing simulation
The LP KICK features an LPSIMU LP12 PC configured for sim racing.
Its configuration includes:
- an Intel Core i5-14400F processor;
- an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card;
- 16 GB of DDR5 memory;
- a 1 TB NVMe SSD;
- built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
This configuration is designed to run the main racing simulation titles in good conditions while powering the LP KICK’s visual environment.
An alternative between static and motion racing simulators
The LP KICK is designed for users looking to go beyond a traditional static simulator without immediately moving to an actuator-based motion platform.
Its strength lies in the combination of several complementary technologies: Direct Drive transmits feedback through the steering, the ActivePedal Pro enhances braking sensations and the ButtKicker adds physical feedback through the cockpit.
This approach makes it a suitable setup for demanding enthusiasts, track day drivers and racing drivers looking for a high-performance simulator to complement their training.
A racing simulator assembled and configured by LPSIMU
Every LP KICK is fully assembled, configured and inspected in the LPSIMU workshop before delivery.
The simulator undergoes more than 150 quality control checks, with settings configured with input from a professional racing driver. The driving position, peripherals, cabling and software configuration are prepared to provide a racing simulator that is ready to use from the very first session.
An upgradeable racing simulator designed to evolve with you
The LP KICK is designed to allow selected equipment to evolve alongside the user’s experience and requirements.
Depending on the configuration and peripheral compatibility, potential additions include:
- a sequential or H-pattern shifter;
- a clutch pedal;
- a handbrake;
- additional sim racing accessories;
- a different display configuration.
This upgrade potential allows users to retain a high-end foundation while progressively evolving the simulator according to their needs.
