Renault recently partnered with LPSIMU for an ambitious project: designing a simulator dedicated to the new Renault T3E. This collaboration is a strong recognition of our expertise and highlights our ability to meet the demanding technical standards of a major automotive manufacturer.
Working directly alongside Renault’s engineers, we recreated the T3E down to the smallest detail for integration into the simulator. Using official technical data, we modeled the vehicle from the ground up in Assetto Corsa in order to accurately reproduce its behavior, performance, and dynamic characteristics.
On the hardware side, we developed a fully custom simulator designed to replicate the real T3E driving environment as closely as possible. The original steering wheel was integrated, with every button made fully functional in-game. This delivers complete immersion and an authentic interaction identical to the real cockpit experience.
The simulator also features the vehicle’s real seat, mounted onto a custom chassis, with particular attention paid to ergonomics and driving position accuracy. Every element was carefully designed to create a seamless connection between the virtual experience and the real driving environment.
This project once again demonstrates LPSIMU’s ability to create professional-grade simulators that combine technical precision, industrial-level standards, and fully bespoke engineering. A great collaboration with Renault that paves the way for new applications of sim racing technology in vehicle engineering and development.
